My name is Mark Everding and I volunteer with Matthew Homes. You know, I pictured myself in front of the Lord someday and He’d say, “what did you do with all that stuff I gave you?”. David Weil helped me start volunteering with Matthew Homes gave me a channel that I didn’t have before. Without that I’d be stuttering in front of the Lord going “you know, I played a lot of golf.” I’m very grateful for the opportunity to work on the Matthew homes and feel like I’m helping even just a little bit. I don’t know how many people I’ve helped in North Chicago but I know for sure that I’m a better person for having done this.
